Tenuta Vaccaro is a story of family and passion for the land, rooted in the charming medieval village of Rocca Cilento, in the heart of the Cilento National Park. Every day, with dedication and tradition, our company cultivates olive groves, vineyards, vegetables, and apiaries, directly transforming the fruits of its land into oil, wine, honey, figs, and jams. Thanks to a short supply chain, we guarantee authentic flavors, freshness, and a genuine connection to the territory.

Between the ancient walls and the surrounding vegetable garden, every visit becomes an immersion in the scents and flavors of Cilento.

Rocca Cilento, with its Sanseverino Castle and breathtaking views over 600 meters above sea level, is not just where we operate: it is our inspiration. Here, medieval history, pristine nature, and farming expertise come together to offer an experience that combines the beauty of the landscape, local culture, and the taste of authentic food.

🫒 Cilento Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Tenuta Vaccaro’s EVO oil is the fruit of a passion passed down through generations. Obtained exclusively from olives grown in our olive groves in Rocca Cilento, in the heart of the Cilento National Park, it is cold-pressed within hours of harvest. This method preserves the oil’s organoleptic properties and guarantees a product of the highest quality.

Our oil is distinguished by its golden-green color, aromas of freshly cut grass, artichoke, and sweet almond, and a harmonious flavor with a slight bitterness and spiciness, a hallmark of its authenticity. It is ideal drizzled on grilled vegetables, legume soups, homemade bread, and salads, but also perfect for enhancing more elaborate dishes.

Produced with native varieties such as Pisciottana, Ogliarola, and Frantoio, it represents a virtuous example of sustainable agriculture and a short supply chain. It’s more than just a condiment: it’s an authentic expression of the Cilento region, bottled with care and love.

🍷 Vino del Cilento

Experience the thrill of a sunset over Cilento, comfortably seated on our panoramic terrace, sipping a glass of wine and savoring traditional dishes.

As the sun sets behind the hills, painting the sky orange and red, the U’Trappito terrace transforms into a place suspended between dream and reality. The light breeze, the aromas wafting from the kitchen, and the panorama spanning the entire Cilento valley create the perfect atmosphere to indulge in authentic flavors.

A sensory experience that combines nature, flavor, and beauty, to be enjoyed slowly, without haste.

🍯 Cilento Wildflower Honey

Produced by our bees that forage among the wild flowers and aromatic plants of the Cilento National Park, our honey is a concentration of biodiversity. It is a multi-flower honey, with a delicate yet persistent flavor, floral, slightly citrusy notes, and a scent reminiscent of pristine nature.

The processing is completely artisanal: no pasteurization, no alteration. Just time, care, and respect for the bees’ work. The result is a living honey that changes from year to year, just like the seasons.

🍯 Available in 250g and 500g jars. Excellent on warm bread, yogurt, or fresh cheeses.

🍓 Artisan Jams

Our jams are made from fresh fruit harvested when fully ripe, sourced from the estate’s fields or from small local producers. No preservatives or chemical additives: just fruit, cane sugar, and a lot of patience. We cook them slowly in copper pots, just like our Cilentan grandmothers did.

We offer traditional flavors like fig, apricot, plum, and cherry, as well as original and spicy combinations. Our white fig jam is particularly popular: smooth and incredibly sweet, perfect with a good caciocavallo cheese or in a homemade tart.

🍓 Available in 200g jars. Ideal for breakfast, desserts, or as a savory accompaniment.

🌿 Cilento Figs: A Sweet Tradition

Cilento DOP white figs are among the symbols of our land. At Tenuta Vaccaro, we handpick them, one by one, under the August sun. They are then left to dry slowly, as per tradition, to enhance their natural sweetness and soft texture.

We offer them in various versions:
– Natural dried figs
– Figs stuffed with almonds or walnuts
– Figs covered in dark chocolate
– Figs preserved in a jar, with bay leaves or Cilento liqueurs

Each variation tells the story of a peasant recipe passed down through time. An ancient, nutritious dessert, also perfect as a gourmet gift.

Directly from the Garden

Directly from the Garden. At our agriturismo, every dish tells a story of seasonality and authenticity. The vegetables we serve grow just meters from the kitchen, cultivated naturally and without force, following the rhythms of the earth. Zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, peppers, chicory, and much more are picked in the morning and brought immediately to the table, offering freshness, flavor, and a unique experience.

Here at Tenuta Vaccaro, we believe in peasant cuisine, made of simplicity and authentic flavors.

Each recipe is born from the combination of our Cilento tradition and the quality of the ingredients we produce directly: an invitation to rediscover the pleasure of authentic food, the kind that truly nourishes body and soul.

Come visit us in the heart of Cilento. You’ll find us at Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, 84050 – Rocca Cilento (SA), a village suspended in time, amidst centuries-old olive groves and breathtaking views.

Reaching us is easy:
If you’re arriving by car, take the SS18 to the Prignano Cilento exit. From there, follow the signs for Torchiara and then for Rocca Cilento.

Once you arrive in the village, you’ll find U’Trappito nestled among the narrow stone streets, ready to welcome you with its authentic atmosphere. Parking is available nearby.
